She was BORN about 1892, the daughter of the late Giles S. & Lucy Peebles Summerlin, pioneer merchant of Thorndale. Her husband, W.H.K. Spillar preceded her in death, also a daughter, Hope. Member of First United Methodist Church of Austin.
SURVIVORS: 2 sons, Giles Spillar of Onion Creek and Kelton H. Spillar of Austin; 2 sisters, Mrs. Gene (Ruth) Caughron and Gladys Masters, both of Austin; 4 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
