"Mrs. Helen Martin, 64, of 5218 North Spruce, died yesterday at Osteopathic hospital after an illness of two weeks. She was born in Eldon, Mo. [sic], and lived in this area 48 years. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd. Surviving are her husband, Clyde Martin of the home; a sister, Mrs. Sarah Oakley of Crawford, Neb.; and a brother, Will Cotten of Wichita." The Kansas City Times, October 28, 1960
