Funeral services for Jeanne Marie Austin Alexander, 24, of Moss Bluff will be held at 11 a.m. today, Nov. 2 [1999], in the Hixson Funeral Home chapel in Leesville with the Revs. Edwin McCullough, Scott Fairman and Mark Coleman officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oak Forest Cemetery in Leesville.
Visitation will be held until service time today in the funeral home.
Alexander died Friday, Oct. 29, in the Christus St. Patrick's Hospital in Lake Charles.
She was a native of Leesville area and a member of the Gateway Church in Leesville. She was a 1992 graduate of Leesville High School and a nursery teacher at Kid's Place Pre-school in Lake Charles.
Survivors include her husband, William E. "Willie" Alexander of Moss Bluff; one son, Zachary Alexander of Moss Bluff; one daughter, Sydney Alexander of Moss Bluff; her parents, Victor and Jean Austin of Leesville; two brothers, Patrick Austin of Leesville and James Austin of Anacoco; three sisters, Carolyn Austin Myers of Inwood, W.V., Sandra Austin Stephens of Simpson and Stephanie Austin Emerson of Anacoco, and her paternal grandparents, Joseph "Sammy" and Jeanne Austin of Anacoco.
