Mr. Swan died Wednesday at his home.
Born in Rosalia, he graduated from Rosalia High School and lived most of his life in Spokane.
Mr. Swan was a carman for Western Fruit Express 26 years and during World War II was a civil defense auxiliary policeman.
He was a member of Spokane Eagles Aerie 2.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Ella (Hehman) Swan; two daughters, Mrs. Ronald L. (Barbara) Devine and Lois M. Davis, both of Spokane; one sister, Vera Raudebaugh of Eugene, Oregon; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials may be made to Hospice of Spokane, Box 1724, Spokane, WA 99210.
