Wayne A. Keyes, 60, former proprietor of the Clark Lanes, passed away at a Watertown hospital Saturday. Mr Keyes suffered a heart attack while working with his snow blower at home. He had a history of a heart condition.
Services were at the St. Paul Lutheran Church at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday with Rev. Robert Berndt officiating.
Mr. Keyes was born July 5,1928 at Henry, the son of Donald and Ruby (Van Sickle) Keyes. He married Arlene Marie Benson March 17, 1951 at Clark.
Mr. Keyes was active in many organizations of the community including the Chamber of Commerce.
Survivors are his wife, Arlene; a son, Larry and his wife, Sandra, of Britton; two daughters, Marcia Stanley of Clark and Vickie Keyes of Tucson, Arizona; six grandsons, Justin and Corey Stanley, Todd, Troy, Brent and Jarrod Keyes; two brothers, Robert of Henry and Harold of Clark; and his mother-in-law, Mable Benson of Clark.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Serving as pallbearers were Noel Fischer, Jim Brekke, Ronald Kruse, Larry Newby, Clifford Decker, and Chuck Sheehan.
