Cassandra "Cassie" G. Duncan, 14, died Dec. 26, 2005, at home in West Kingston.
Cassandra was born in Wakefield, a daughter of John D. and Cynthia G. (Stamp) Duncan.
Cassandra was a sophomore at Chariho Regional High School, a member of the Future Farmers of America, helped at her parents John and Cindy's "Harvest Acres Farm," and enjoyed the outside and helping other people.
Besides her mother and father, she is survived by three brothers, Daniel J. Duncan, Thomas J. Duncan and Gregory M. Duncan, all of West Kingston; her maternal grandparents, William and Carol Stamp Jr. of Exeter; her paternal grandmother, Shirley (Covell) Duncan of West Kingston; her maternal great-grandmother, Ruth Stamp of Wakefield; and her paternal great-grandmother, Dorothy Covell of West Kingston.
She was the granddaughter of the late David Duncan; and great-granddaughter of the late William Stamp Sr. and Harold Covell.
Friends may call at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home, 659 East Greenwich Ave., West Warwick, Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 54 Cedar Swamp Road, Smithfield. Burial will be in White Brook Cemetery, Pine Hill Road, Richmond.
In place of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cassandra Duncan Memorial Fund, c/o Student Activities Fund, 455A Switch Road, Wood River Junction, RI 02894.
Counseling will be available at Chariho High School today 9 a.m. to noon and from 5 to 7 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon.
