Moore - Clinton Howard Beverland, 47, former Moore resident, died May 17, 1985, at his home in Oakview, Calif., after suffering an apparent heart attack. He was born Sept. 30, 1935, at Moore, son of Dick and Betty Palmer Beverland. He attended schools at Moore and Arco. He served in the Navy and after his discharge he lived in California and worked for Southern Pacific Railroad. For the past 10 years he has owned and operated a sanitation business in Oakview.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia; a son Rob Beverland and a daughter Susan Beverland, all of Oakview; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Beverland of Moore; three sisters, Cheryl Mathews, Carrie Deichman and Bobby Wortley, all of Arco. A sister preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Marvel Memorial Chapel in Arco with Bishop Merlin Waddoups officiating. Burial will be in the Lost River Cemetery at Moore.
