MRS. SARAH JONES ALLMAN, 83, of Rt. 2, Matthews died Monday in a local hospital. Funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday at Weddington Methodist Church in Weddington. Burial in Pineville Cemetery in Pineville.

Survivors: daughters, Mrs. Bessie Smith of Pineville, Mrs. May Belle Schaffer of Carteret, M. J.; sons, Thomas Allman of Rock Hill, S.C., Raymond Allman of Salisbury, James Allman of Kenasha, Wis.; sisters, Mrs. Ella Mae Thorpe of Charlotte, Mrs. Kattie Mann of Kannapolis.
