Butch Edgar passed away in McKinney, Texas on August 5, 2021 at the age of 70. He was born in McKinney, Texas on August 3, 1951 to George Irvin Edgar and Etta Mae (Owens) Edgar.
He married Linda Kay Cummings on October 19, 1999 in Melissa, Texas.
Butch is survived by his wife Linda Kay Edgar of McKinney, Texas, children, Lisa Draper of Celina, Texas, Leah Reynolds and husband Johnny of Jacksonville, North Carolina and Leah Michelle Brown of Blue Ridge, Texas. Grandchildren; Caden Jackson, Ace Draper, Johnathan Reynolds, Laela Reynolds, Brooke Brown, Kendra Brown, Madison Cumpston, Michael Cumpston and Kaci Oliver. Butch is also survived by his 10 great grandchildren and numerous cousins, friends, and relatives.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son, George Tinsley, son, Lee Michael Cumpston and grandson Kevin Brown.
Pallbearers include Ben Griffin, Rad Ramquist, Mike Owen, Allen Love, Walter Hamm and Billy Smith. Honorary pallbearers are Ray Love, Roy Lee Capps and John Miller.
A visitation will be held at Hurst's Fielder-Baker Funeral Home on Sunday, August 8, 2021 from 6-8PM. The Funeral service will be at the funeral home on Monday, August 9, 2021 at 10:00AM. Burial will follow the service at I.O.O.F Cemetery.
