Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Burnice Tudor and brothers, Henry, James, amd Otho Schlenker.
Harriett was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church, loved to crochet, and reading her bible.
She is survived by her loving husband of over 65 years, Henry Manuel Jessie; daughters, Twilla (Bobby) Durbin of Irvington, Sheila (Charles) Hall of Elizabethtown, Phyllis (Donald) Houtchen of Shepherdsville, and Loretta (Richard) French of Irvington; 11 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the Alexander Funeral Home in Irvington, on Sunday, August 8, 2021 from 12-8:00 P.M. EDT and Monday after 9:00 A.M. Funeral services will be held at Walnut Grove Baptist Church, 101 Walnut Grove Church Lane, Irvington, KY 40146, on Monday, August 9, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. EDT. Bro. Rick Lauterbach will be officiating and burial will follow in the Walnut Grove Cemetery.
