Margaret was born on March 9, 1924 to George and Elizabeth (nee Stumphauser) Puskas. She was an avid student of the Bible and loved hearing the scriptures read to her. She lived in Lorain for several years and was very involved in teaching knitting and ceramics. She later spent many years in Fairhope, Alabama returning to Ohio after the death of her husband, Virgil Bowers. Margaret was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ, Restored Gospel.

She is survived by her son, Gary (Carla) King of Amherst, OH; grandchildren Tracy (Brian) Younce, Zachary (Danielle) Dziak; 4 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren; sisters Mary Louise Ellison and Delores Younkings of Elyria and many nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by children and grandchildren from her marriage to Virgil Bowers: Harold (Linda) Bowers, Jimmy (Joyce) Bowers, Johnny (Shirlee) Bowers, Frances Sandak and Peggy (Mark) Doxey; 18 grandchildren.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Virgil Bowers; parents George and Elizabeth; brothers William and George Puskas; sister Viola Vanche; stepdaughters Juanita Barnes, JoAnn Shaw and Monie Neal; grandson Scott King; former husband Henry King.

Friends may call for a visitation from 10:00am to 12:00pm with a 12:00pm service on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Busch Funeral Home 32000 Detroit Rd., Avon, OH 44011. Burial to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
