James F. "Fred" Johnson, age 79, born in Bay Minette, AL and a resident of the White House Fork Community died Thursday, August 5, 2021 at his residence. He was a retired Sergeant in the U.S. Army having served during Vietnam and a member of the Bay Minette Masonic Lodge #498.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Harrrison "Sandy" Johnson of White House Fork; his children, Kerry Elizabeth Johnson (Cary A.) Roley of Stockton, AL, Jack F. Johnson of White House Fork and Krystal Dawn Johnson of White House Fork; one brother, Ronald (Sandy) Johnson of Loxley, AL; one sister, Judy (Walter) Moorer of White House Fork; grandchildren, Chandler A. (Payton) Roley, Emma Kate (Anthony) Peacock, Callie A. Roley, Sara E. Johnson (Keegan) Biggs, McKenzie Hyatt and Jaron Johnson and great grandchildren, Carter A. Roley, Bryndle Dawn Peacock and Baylor Cash Peacock.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Richard and Neoma Rider Johnson; a brother, Wayne R. Johnson; a sister, Wecy Ryals Matchett and a nephew, Scott Johnson.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 9, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the White House Fork Pentecostal Holiness Church with Reverend Dale Ryals officiating. Burial will follow at the Alabama State Veterans Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
The family will receive friends Monday, August 9, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. service at the White House Fork Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Pallbearer will be Chandler Roley, Jaron Johnson, Keegan Biggs, Chris Williams, Jeff Johnson and Joby Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Cary Roley, Paul Latham, Shain Moorer, Corey Moorer and Greg Vinson.
