Mrs. Bock 75 passed away Monday July 5, 2010 at her home with her family at her side following a brief illness. She was born on January 29, 1935 in Albright Shores to the late Earl & Mary (Crowell) Woodruff. She married Robert W. Bock on February 14, 1953 in Midland. He preceded her in death on September 15, 2000. Doris worked at Lost Arrow Resort and was a member of Hope Lutheran Church. She enjoyed her casino trips but the great joy was being with her family and especially her grand children.
She is survived by her children Robert & Sandra Bock, Kim & Jackie Bock, Tina & Jim Perry, Keith & Teresa Bock, Barry & Shellie Bock, Paul & Alyssia Bock, Cheri & Rocky Overly; Grand children Jason(Jessica) Bock, Kelsey Bock, Nicole(Jason) Schultz, Nathan (Stephanie) Bock, Dawn Bock, Dana Bock, Douglas Bock, Charles (Alisha) Bock, Jacob Bock, Kirsten Perry, James Perry, Marie Roper and Christine Geiling; 8 great grand children; Mother in law Esther Bock; 2 sisters Wanda Smith and Blanche & Jerry Wilson; sister in law Theo Woodruff and Donna Woodruff, also several nieces and nephews. She predeceased by 2 sisters Lila Erway and Nola Spencer; 4 brothers Earl, Howard, Neal and Jack Woodruff; 2 great grandsons Aiden Bock and Jack Schultz
Funeral services will be held Thursday July 8, 2010 at 11 am from Hope Lutheran Church with Pastor Reed Schroer presiding with burial in Billings Township Cemetery. Friends may call at Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home on Wednesday from 1 to 9 pm. On Thursday Mrs. Bock will lie in state at the church from 10 am until time of services. Those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Hope Lutheran Church or the Family's Wishes.
