Daughter of John Miscal Skyles (4 Oct 1874-30 Nov 1941)and Eudora Adell Plank (3 Dec 1880-5 Jul 1977) who married 11 Aug 1900 in Leadville, Lake, Colorado. Siblings: Lillian Adell Skyles (13 Jun 1901-6 Apr 1906), George William Lenard Skyles (24 Aug 1904-19 Aug 2000), John Leslie Skyles (25 Jun 1910-25 Nov 2002), Guy Plank Skyles (16 Jun 1913-3 Oct 1986), LIVING sister, LIVING brother.

She was a wonderful friend. I knew her the last 15 years of her life in Madera, CA. She loved to read but lost her sight in those final years so I would read to her. We read "The Work and the Glory" series together. She was active until the end, living alone and bearing her testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ often. She was my model for enduring to the end. It was difficult to let her go but, at 97, she was ready. She joins her beloved Alph in eternity. I think of her often.
