Donald Bachman, 86, of Easton, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at his home.
Born June 18, 1935, in Bethlehem, PA, he was a son of the late Earl and Evelyn (Festamacher) Bachman.
His wife of 49 years, Lillian B. (Miller) Bachman, passed away on January 5, 2011.
Don retired as a foreman for the City of Easton, Highway Department, where he worked for 33 years. After retirement, he worked for Dollar Tree, Palmer Township, for over 10 years.
He enjoyed traveling.
Years ago, he was active with Boy Scouts of America Troop 6.
Surviving are two sons, Donald C. Bachman, of TN and Robert M. Bachman, at home; a brother, Dale Bachman and his wife Sabrina, of Bethlehem; a sister, Alice Stephen, of Allentown; and three granddaughters, Cleo Massas, Sophia Bachman and her husband Andrew and Ashley Woodard. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by a son, Thomas N. Bachman, a daughter, Tracy A. Bachman, and two brothers, Earl J. and John Bachman.
Private services are under the direction of the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Easton. Burial will be in Hay's Cemetery.
