(3) Marie Albina ROMERO on 17 Feb 1922 in Socorro Co NM. They had four children: William L, James Henry, Mary Margarette (adopted) & Betty CASSADY. Wilbur & Marie divorced in Oct 1938 per the Albuquerque Journal newspaper article, but must have reconciled since they are together on the 1950 Census.
Wilbur was convicted of the murder of Rosa Garcia on 21 November 1937. He shot, mutilated her, and left her body on the side of a road in Rio Salado near Socorro, New Mexico. (Per FAG Volunteer, Philip Trevino, FAG #49843909) He was in the NM State Prison on the 1940 Census.
