Funeral services for Fran D. Peterson, born March 9, 1935 and died April 5, 2000, were held Saturday, April 8, 2000 in the Jensen Ward Chapel with Bishop H.A. Warren conducting. Grant Ainge offered the family prayer with prelude and postlude played by Annette Freston. Floyd Holfeltz gave the invocation. Fran's granddaughters, accompanied by Cindy Ruppe, sang "The Dearest Names:" Ann Crow, daughter, read a poem, "My Father's Eyes;" Lyle Harlow sang "These Hands;" and the congregation, accompanied by Annette Freston, sang "God Be With You 'Til We Meet Again." Marlin Moon gave the benediction and Stanley Bryce Peterson, dedicated the grave. Pallbearers were Stanley Bryce Peterson, Marv De Peterson, Wilbert James Woody, Mikell Burch Peterson, Eugene James Woody and Tim C. Crow. Honorary pallbearers were son-in-laws, Timothy M. Webster, Richard A. Deegan, and grandsons and great-grandsons. Interment was in the Jensen Cemetery under the direction of Thomson-Blackburn Vernal Mortuary with compassionate services offered by the Jensen Ward Relief Society.- Misc. Uintah Co., UT obituries
