Steve Voss, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend on Sunday August 1, 2021 passed away quietly in his home with his wife Carole by his side at the age of 78 years.

Services with Military Honors will be Thursday, August 5, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Santa Anna Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Marvin Hale officiating. Interment will follow with services under the care of Henderson Funeral Home staff.

The family will receive friends for visitation Wednesday, August 4, 2021 from 5:00 till 6:30 pm at Henderson Funeral Home Santa Anna.

He was born Howard Steven Voss on April 18, 1943 in Santa Anna, Texas to Eddie Paul Voss, Sr. and Minnie McIntire Voss. Steve was raised in Santa Anna where he attended the Santa Anna Schools graduating in the Class of 1961. He continued his education at the University of Maryland with Air Force Military Courses. On November 24, 1965 Steve married the love of his life Carole Campbell in Santa Anna and they have celebrated 55 years of marriage.

Steve served his country in the United States Air Force as a Master Sargent until his retirement in 1983, serving during the Vietnam War. Following his retirement from the Air Force he was employed with the United States Postal Service until retiring in 1999. In 2008 he and Carole moved to San Angelo where they have since resided. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Santa Anna. Steve loved to fish and work with computers.
