Mr. Forbes, a World War II Army Air Corps veteran, died Saturday. He was 65.
Born in South Bend, Washington, he moved to Deer Park 60 years ago.
He married Agnes Caldwell in 1945.
Mr. Forbes worked for Deer Park Auto Freight and Deer Park Pine. He worked at Long Lake Lumber Co. before retiring in 1990.
Survivors include his wife, at the home; a son, Art Forbes of Loon Lake, Washington; three daughters, Connie Wines of Elk, and Beverly Tomala and Penny Hinderman, both of Deer Park; two brothers and a sister; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
