Mabel Key, 93, passed away Monday, July 30, 1991 at Rangely District Hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was born Aug. 30, 1897 in Texas, a daughter of Robert Lee and Mattie Rogers Etheredge. She married Andrew Jack Campo in Texas in 1915. She later married Ector Key in 1942, who preceded her in death in 1964. She moved to Rangely in 1969 and has been a resident of Dinosaur and Rangely ever since.
She is survived by four daughters and a son, Lucille Baker of Dinosaur, Virginia Schreivogel of Rangely, Adley Leonard of Coalinga, Calif., Agnes Churchill of Okmulgee, Okla. and Burt Key of Rangely; two brothers and one sister, Wilmer Lee Etheredge of Ark., Roy Etheredge and Addie Gibson, both of Ga.; 22 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and 36 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Thelma Morgan of Rangely.
Graveside services were held Saturday, Aug. 3 at the Dinosaur Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Shane Key, Clayton Key, Darren Baker, Chris Baker, Bobby Page and Bobby LeBleu.
Thomson's Vernal Mortuary was in charge of funeral arrangements.
