She was born Feb. 4, 1918, in Coldwater, to Aloys and Eleanor (Wenning) Buschur.
On Oct. 28, 1939, she married Jerry Gaerke and he died April 8, 1992.
Surviving are a brother and his wife, Eugene and Caroline Buschur, Coldwater; two sisters, Alma Huwer and Mary Bergman, both of Coldwater; three brothers-in-law and their wives, Harold and Eileen Gaerke, Charlie and Betty Gaerke and Henry and Jan Gaerke, all of Fort Recovery, and a brother-in-law, John Gast, Florida; two sisters-in-law and their husbands, Virginia and Robert Tangeman, Maria Stein, and Marcella and Dick Topp, Florida, and seven sisters-in-law, Dorothy Hein, Montezuma, Lorine Forsthoefer, Dayton, Luella Frank, Celina, Dorothy Gaerke, Coldwater, and Mary Ann Homan, Dorothy Gaerke and Lillian Garke-Homan, all of Fort Recovery.
Deceased are two brothers, Arthur and Dan Buschur, and a sister, Margie Gast.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, St. Ann Rosary Altar Society and the Eagles Auxiliary, all of Coldwater.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Ronald Wilker officiating.
