Phyllis Alexander Hines, 57, Indianapolis, formerly of Brownsburg, died October 10, 2006. She was a homemaker and member of the Avon Community Church of God. She is survived by husband, Vern Hines; sons, Matt Scott and Troy (Beth) Scott; parents, John and Mary Alexander; stepchildren, Vern, Julie, Jeanette, and Jill; brother, Kevin (Phyllis) Alexander; sister, Cheryl (Bob) Hughes; and grandchildren, Caleb and Hannah Scott. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, October 13, 2006 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with visitation there from 10 a.m to 11 a.m. Burial will be at Brownsburg Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
