Donald T. Campbell, age 90, a lifelong Macomb County resident passed away at his home in Bruce Township on Sunday, December 23, 2018. Don was born November 9, 1928 in Warren, Michigan, the son of James & Clara (Brinkman) Campbell. He married Georgina Malburg at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Utica on November 10, 1948. Don was a truck-garden farmer at his Armada Township farm. After he retired from farming, he worked for Interpace Manufacturing making the pipeline for the Detroit Water System. He always said he had the highest job in Macomb County because he sat atop the crane that moved the pipes around the yard. After the pipeline was completed, he started work at Ford Motor Company at its Axle Plant in Sterling Heights, where he worked until he retired. Don was known for his love of music starting early in life. He had his own polka band and played accordion for many family and friends, weddings and parties. Upon retirement he enjoyed organizing casino trips for the K of C charity benefits, and was always ready for polka dancing or calling a square dance. Along with his family, he was a longtime member of St. Clement Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council #7018 and St. Clement Assembly 4th Degree Knights of Columbus.

Don is survived by his wife Georgina, children: Dr. Donald Campbell, M.D., Daniel (Christine), Donna (Thomas) Seales, Diane (Kip) Williams, Deborah (Mark) Prentiss, and MaryAnn (Gregory) Rivers. Also survived by 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and siblings: Cecilia Kaltz, Clara Malburg, and Rosalie Debeaussaert. Don was preceded in death by daughter- in- law Paula Goltz-Campbell, son-in-law Mark Kalousdian, grandson Kyle Kalousdian and siblings: Bernadine Monnig, Madeline Theut, Geralda Kaltz, Lorraine Trombley, Louis, Arthur, James, Anthony, Raymond, and Robert Campbell.
