Christine M. Fickes, 93, of Harrisburg passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021 in the Jewish Home of Greater Harrisburg.
She was born in Harrisburg on December 02, 1927, the daughter of the late Paul V. and Catherine B. (Pavelic) Kincaid.
Christine was a retired Secretary for the New Cumberland Army Depot.
She was of the Catholic faith.
In addition to her parents, Christine was preceded in death by her husband: Robert H. Fickes; her son: Stephen Fickes; and, her sister: Patricia Hrobak.
She is survived by her daughter: Sharon (Donald) Stepp of East Berlin; her grandsons: Andrew (Miranda) Stepp of Baltimore and Timothy (Christina) Stepp of Phoenixville; her great-grandsons: Rick Joseph Stepp and Emerson Lynn Stepp with another great-grandchild due in August; and, her daughter-in-law: Theresa Fickes of Camp Hill.
A Visitation will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 05, 2021 in St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Roman Catholic Church, 2800 Paxton Church Road, Harrisburg. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00 AM with Rev. Samuel E. Houser as Celebrant.
Interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
