Mrs. Julia Allen (wife of H. Allen) was born about two miles southwest of Versailles on the farm formerly owned by her father, Elijah Hall, where she was buried Tuesday of this week.
She was sixty-three years of age and was married to H. Allen, January 3, 1878. To them were born three children, two of whom are still living, namely Mary and Willie.
Mrs. Allen was a great sufferer for several years and now she rests in peace.
She leaves beside her husband and two children, two brothers and one sister to mourn her demise, namely LLoyd Hall, Granville Hall and Mrs. Vina Ausmus.
Funeral services were held at the residence conducted by Rev. B. A. McCoy.
