Charles Don Anthony was the son of Edwin Anthony and Alice Moore and the husband of Florence R. Spears. He was a poultry farmer.

"Charles Don Anthony, 81, of Beaver Dams, died Saturday. In rent years Mrs. Anthony and his wife Florence had lived at the home of their daughter, Mrs. William Pearce, Canandaigua. Mr. Anthony was a retired poultry farmer, a member of Beaver Dams Methodist Church, the Beaver Dams Grange and Fire Department. Besides his wife and daughter survivors are a son, Willard of St. Charles HI, another daughter Mrs. Clarence Carman of Bath, 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, brothers Frank of Endicott and Leon of Binghamton...Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Beaver Dams Methodist church. Burial will be at Beaver Dams Cemetery."
