Published in the Piscataquis (ME) Observer on 19 Apr 1855 p3: "DEATHS---In Sebec, 17th inst., Mrs. Hannah Mayhew, daughter of Mr. James Chase, aged 24 years."

According to the Ancestral File at familysearch.org, Hannah Chase was born about 1832 of Penobscot County, Maine, married James M Mayhew before 1853 in Penobscot County and died before 1859. At the same site in the IGI, Hannah E Chase was born 16 Oct 1827 in Waterville, Kennebec, Maine to James P Chase & Mary E Badger.
