Massachusetts Deaths, 1841-1915: Sarah M Bullard Chandler, born about 1845 in Foxcroft, Maine to Jonathan (born in Jay, Maine) & Nancy (born in Buclfield, Maine), wife of Nicholas A, resident at 6 Kingston Street, Boston, Massachusetts, died on 14 Jan 1877 in Foxcroft, Maine at age 32y 6m of pneumonia with heart complications.

Published in the Piscataquis (ME) Observer 25 Jan 1877 p2: "The wife of Mr. N. A. Chandler of Foxcroft, died very suddenly at the residence of her sister Mrs. Emma McKnab at Charlestown, Mass., on Saturday the 13th inst. She had been ill a short time previously of consumption, but pneumonia set in and she lived only a few hours after. Her brother, Mr. Lucius M. Bullard of Foxcroft, died only the Sunday prior to Mrs. Chandler, after a tedious illness of nearly five years of consumption."

Published in the Piscataquis (ME) Observer 25 Jan 1877 p3: "DIED---At Charlestown, Mass., Jan. 14, of Pneumonia, at the residence of her sister---Mrs. Emma McNabe---Mrs. Sarah M. Chandler, wife of Allen Chandler, and daughter of Jonathan and Nancy Bullard, aged 32 years.

The deceased was a consistent member of the Baptist church, a devoted wife, a kind neighbor, and one who will be missed by a large circle of kindred and friends. She was a sister of the late Lucius M. Bullard, and departed this life on the same day of the week and hour of the day; there being just one week's difference between the two deaths; making the sixth one of twelve brothers and sisters that have passed away. Her remains were interred in the family burying ground at Foxcroft."

Zion's Advocate newspaper published on Wednesday, Feb 07, 1877 in Portland, ME, page 3:
At Charlestown, Mass., of pneumonia, at the residence of her sister, Mrs. Emma McNab, Mrs. Sarah M. Chandler, wife of Mr. N.A. Chandler and daughter of Mr Jonathan and Nancy Bullard, aged 32 years. The deceased became a subject of divine grace when 15 years of age and subsequently joined the Baptist church, of which she was a consistent member up to her death; a devoted and affectionate wife, a kind friend and neighbor, and one that will be greatly missed by a large circle of kindred and friends who knew her only to love her for her amiable character. She was the sister to the above named Lucius Bullard and departed this life on the same day of the week and the same hour of the day, there being just one weeks' difference between the two deaths, making the sixth of twelve brothers and sisters that have passed away.
