FUNERAL ON SUNDAY

MANY FRIENDS ATTENDED SERVICES OF PETER LOUDENBURG

The funeral services of Peter Loudenburg were held Sunday at 10 O'Clock at the late residence four miles southeast of Tampico. The services were attended by a large number of sorrowing friends from the vicinity and from a distance. Rev. W.J.Eyles, pastor of the Baptist church, preached the sermon, while Mrs. Amy Dennison and Miss Minnie Emmons sang several beautiful selections. There were many beautiful floral tokens of sympathy. At the close of the services at the home, the remains were taken to the Osceola Cemetery near Bradford, where they were laid by the side of loved ones gone before. The Pall bearers were F.A.Brewer, Owen Graham, E.B.Cummings, A.T. Glassburn, Arthur Aldrich, J.S.Johnson. Fifteen autos left the home to follow the remains to their last resting place.

Peter Loudenburg was born 51 years ago in Stark County, Ill. In 1890 he was married to Miss Mary Harmon, who with the children, are left to mourn the loss of a kind husband and father. For five years he made his home near Walnut and moved to Tampico several years ago. He leaves, besides his loving wife, four children; Mrs. Hazel Gray, Ralph, Earl and Wayne.

Mr. Loudenburg was a well known and highly respected man. One who it was a pleasure to know and to have dealings with. His home and family meant a great deal to him, and the vacant place can never be filled in that home. His death coming so suddenly was a great shock to his family and friends and all of his acquaintances will mourn the loss.
