Barbara S. Moyer, 78, of Marysville, Pennsylvania passed away Sunday July 25, 2021 at her home.

Born December 5, 1942, in West Reading, Pennsylvania she was a daughter of the late Paul I. and Myrtle I. (Steckel) Speicher.

Barbara had been united in marriage with James R. Moyer, Jr., for 39 years, prior to his passing on October 4, 2004.

A 1964 graduate of Lebanon Valley College, with a degree in Elementary Education, she spent nearly 35 years as an Elementary School Teacher in the East Pennsboro School District prior to her retirement. Barbara enjoyed lunch every Friday with her fellow retirees from West Creek Hills Elementary School, caring for her cats and anything "Outlander". She was especially fond of quilting and sewing – talents she was excited to be able to share with her granddaughter, Cassidy. Barbara was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Camp Hill.

Barbara is survived by her daughters, Jennie M. (Bryan J.) Mabius, of Duncannon and Janet M. Hoerner, of Marysville; three grandchildren, Anthony M. Gray, Mitchell D. Baltosser and Cassidy M. Hoerner and two step grandchildren, Harley J. Mabius and Dalton V. Mabius. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Lou (Ernst) Hartline, of Tucson, AZ; sister-in-law, Judith (Lee) Hanson of Genoa, NV and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth R. Glick.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for her viewing at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday August 5, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2000 Chestnut Street, Camp Hill. Her Funeral Service will commence at 12:00 Noon with Rev. Elizabeth E. Frey, officiating. Interment in Union Cemetery, Duncannon, will be private.
