Elizabeth Jane, beloved wife of William S. Hoffman, died at her home in this place, Thursday of last week from tuberculois resulting from an attack of the flu two years ago. The deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. Beamer Clouser, of this palce, and was born on June 21, 1900, and at her death was aged 20 years, 8 months and 26 days. She was married to William S. Hoffman, June 20, 1918 and a little girl survives this union. They made their home in West Fairview but on account of failing health the family moved here last Januray since which the decline of Mrs. Hoffman was rapid.

The deceased was affiliated with the M.E. Church of this place and had many friends who sincerely regret her untimely death. The little daughter had been taken by Mr. and Mrs. Levi Clouser and the father will make his home here with Mr. and Mrs. L.B. Clouser.

Funeral services were held at the residence of the deceased on Monday, with Rev. I. Potter Hayes, of the Presbyterian church officiating. Interment is in the cemetery of this place.
