MUNCIE--Rozlyn E. McKenzie, 58, of Muncie, died unexpectedly Wednesday afternoon at Ball Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Baltimore, Md., and graduated from high school in that area and moved to Muncie in 1966. She also was involved in several ministerial studies through the Nazarene Church.
Miss McKenzie was the executive director at the Wayside Mission where she had served for the past 23 years.
Miss McKenzie was a member of Thanks to Calvary Worship Center.
Surviving are her parents, her mother, Ellen Conklin, and her father, Heyward McKenzie; her sister, Pamela Spaur; her niece, Jennifer Coffman (husband, Michael), all of Muncie; two nephews, Stephen Spaur, Fortville, and Jay Spaur (wife: Pam), Mt. Vernon, Ohio; and her beloved special friends including Dale and Bobbi Workman Sr., Penny Brooks, Becky Brooks, and a host of others.
Services will be held in The Meeks Mortuary Chapel at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday with Pastor Dale Workman Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Friends may call at The Meeks Mortuary from 4 until 8 p.m. today or an hour before services on Saturday.
