Death Tuesday For John P. Glick

John Peter Glick, 78 year old retired teamster, was found dead in his bed about 5 o'clock Tuesday morning at the family home on 7th at Maple. He was the victim of a heart attack.

Mr. Glick was a resident of St. Marys for more than half of a century, coming here in 1888. He was a native of Marinthal, Russia where 55 years ago he was married to Mary Bucholz. They came to America almost immediately and settled first in New York state, then traveled on ward to Kansas.

The deceased is survived by his widow and seven children: Alex, Francis and Clarence of St. Marys, Mary Dillman of Kansas City, Sgt. Nick Glick of Fort Leavenworth, Margaret DeVader of Emmett and Veronica Ubert of Catherine, Kansas.

Another daughter, Elizabeth, died in 1927.

A requiem Mass for the repose of his soul was sung this morning at 10:30 o'clock in the Catholic church Interment was in Mt. Calvary cemetery.

The pallbearers were Ambros Hagen, Jim Kinderknecht, John Martel, Rudolph Fuhr, John Hansan and Charles DeVader.
