In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Joe W. Almon, Sr.
She is survived by her son, Joe W. Almon, Jr. and his wife Deena of Newnan; her sisters, Marie O'Neal and Mary Francis Carlisle. Also surviving are her grandchildren and great grandchildren. A private family observance of her life has been held. Interment was at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
