Don truly enjoyed outdoor activities, which included hunting, fishing, boating and riding ATVs. He had a 30-year career as a skilled trade welder with GM and retired with woodworking as his hobby. Don was also a jokester and loved his animals. Don also spent time in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany during the Vietnam war era.
Don was married to his loving wife for 55 years and was dedicated father to daughter and son. He was also a loving grandfather to four grandchildren.
