DIES AT HER HOME
Mrs. A. I. Rice passes Away Thursday Evening of Heart Failure
Had Been Ill for Months

Mrs. A. I. Rice passed away at her home, 655 Clendening Avenue, Thursday evening at 6:30 o'clock. Death was the result of heart failure. Mrs. Rice had been somewhat ill for several months, but had been active until the afternoon of her death.

She was born October 10, 1848 in the state of New York, being therefore, 78 years of age. As a young woman, she became the wife of the late Rev. P. Wadkins. Later she married A. I. Rice. The deceased is survived by her husband, three children, Charles Wadkins of Cumberland, Wis., William Wadkins, of Zion, Ill, and Mrs. William Josslyn, of
Milwaukee, Wis; three sisters, Mrs. Caroline Fink, of this City, Mrs. Emma Umstead of
White fish, Montana, and Mrs. Hannah Pembel, of Mercer, Wis. There are also five
surviving brothers, George and Hiram Craw, both of Mercer, Wis: Cornelius, of Park
Falls, Wis; Elmer and Ezra Craw of Gretchen (sic - Gresham )Wis. Fifteen grandchildren, four great grand children and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
