Donald S. Burchfield, 56, of 1736 Taylor St., died Friday, May 13, 2005, at King's Daughters' Hospital.
He was born April 23, 1949, in Madison, the son of Arlie L. and LaVerne Jones Burchfield. He was a newspaper carrier for The Madison Courier and formerly for the Louisville Courier-Journal and an avid golfer.
Surviving are one sister, Wanda Fraley of Madison; tow brothers, Russell Burchfield of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Jerry Burchfield of Bowling Green, Ky.; two nephews; and three nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Linda Kay Burchfield; and two brothers, Richard and James Burchfield.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Vail-Holt Funeral Home Madison Chapel.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Tuesday.
