Mr. Coleman was born in Grayson County, Virginia on May 27, 1942 to Eddie Lee and Ruby Miller Coleman.
He proudly served his country in the US Army.
He is survived by his wife Jane Ingo Coleman of Talbott, Tennessee; sons and daughters-in-law Phillip and Rebecca Coleman of Spartanburg, South Carolina; Adam and Ashley Coleman of Groton, Connecticut; seven grandchildren Sarah, Claire, Emily, Emma, Tupelo, Grayson Coleman; Hayley Wood of Connecticut; brother and sister-in-law Gerald and Novella Coleman of Fries, Virginia; an aunt Joan Miller; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Thursday in the Odd Fellows Cemetery with Bennie Cornett officiating. Military Rites will be conducted by the Grayson County VFW Post 7726.
