Mary Elizabeth Stoneman, 65, died Friday, January 26 in the Horizon Medical center in Dickson Tenn. Stoneman was a retired teacher at Nashville Tech., a member of the Country Music Association, and of the Rye's Chapel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Scott Stoneman. She is survived by her sons James F. Madison of Caryville and Ernie S. Stoneman of Cumberland Furnace Tenn.; daughters: Janis L. Madison Katz of Dallas Texas, Deborah S. Madison Proctor of Caryville, Dinah Madison Vogel of Wichita Kansas, F. Karen Stoneman Underwood of Clarksville Tenn.; brother Charles Allen of Atlanta; sister Brenda Parton on Jacksboro Tenn.; eight grandchildren. Funeral services were Monday, 29 January at her home in Dickson Tenn. Interment was in Mt. Oliver cemetery in Nashville Tenn. On Tuesday, January 30; Taylor Funeral Home of Dickson in charge of arrangements.
