Obituary
Bettie Mae Lipsey, 87, of Midvale, Utah, peacefully passed away on July 16 surrounded by loved ones.

Bettie was born May 26, 1934 to parents Ed and Dorothy Kidder in Park City, Utah.

Bettie was raised on Main Street in Park City until she was 16. At that time the family moved to Bingham so her father could work in the Lark Mine. It was here that she met Dean Lipsey, the love of her life. They were wed after Bettie graduated high school.

Bettie worked various jobs throughout her life, and never relished the idea of retirement.

Bettie had an active life, pursuing activities such as hunting, fishing, and skiing.

Bettie is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dean, and her children Larry, Christina and Geraldean.

She is survived by her sons Garry (Leita) and John (Faye), daughter-in-law Connie, grandchildren John, Michael and Crystal, and great-granddaughter Indy Mae.

There will be a viewing Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm with a Rosary at 7 pm at Goff Mortuary located at 8090 S. State Street in Midvale. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, July 22 at 10:00 am at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Catholic Church at 624 W. Lennox Street in Midvale.
