She was married to William A Broas and had two sons and two daughters with William between 1875 and 1883. She died on March 17, 1935, in Middletown, New York, at the Middletown State Homeopathic Hospital, at the age of 83, and was buried there. William Broas evidently divorced Emeline since he married for a second time to Charlotte Litchrod on 17 Jan 1888.
The 1880 Federal Census has her living with her husband (William Broas) and her children; Musezetta, William, and Bertie. Daughter, Pearl Broas, was born in 1883.
