She was united in marriage to George W. Harper on June 24, 1868, at Alexandria, Minn. To this union were born nine children, five of whom are still living, four having died in infancy. The living are George L. of Chippewa Lake, Mrs. O. J. Danson of Cleveland, Levi E. Harper of Montreal, Can., Alta B. Baldwin of Ashland. The father of these children preceded her to the spirt land Jan 20, 1891.
She was married at Medina on March 28, 1911, to E. Morrison of Sullivan, O., where they resided one year, when they returned to the old home, where she passed away on Aug 30, 1913. There is a husband, five children, nine grandchildren to mourn the loss of one whose place in the home circle can never be filled.
Early in life she accepted Christ as her Savior and united with the M. E. Church. In 1902 she transferred her membership to the United Brethren church of Ashland. After coming back to the old home, she transferred her name to the United Brethren church of Chippewa Lake, of which she was a member until her death.
Funeral services were held Monday at the home, conducted by Rev. W. M. Whitehair; burial in Seville cemetery.
NOTE: Her father was John and her mother was Margaret. Moses was a brother. Mary was married to David H. Lant on Feb 21, 1866 in Wasukesha, Wisconsin. She then married George W. Harper. On Dec 25, 1896 in Medina, Ohio she married Jacob A. W. Stuff.
