Lois Berthelot Warner, a retired lunchroom manager at Brusly Middle School and a resident of Addis, died Friday morning, Nov. 16, 2007, at Hospice of Baton Rouge Butterfly Wing. She was 78 and a native of Bayou Pigeon.

She is survived by her husband, Raleigh D. Warner Sr.; three daughters, Dianne Gaudet and husband John, Patricia Walker and Jill Blanchard and husband Johnny; two sons, Raleigh D. Warner Jr. and wife Anastasia, and Mark Warner; stepmother, Doris McDempsey Berthelot; two sisters, Joyce Ann Revelle and Doris Morales; two brothers, Albert Berthelot and Donald Lee Berthelot; 12 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, special niece, Janie Landry; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Adolph Berthelot and Azelie Aucoin Berthelot; sisters, Bessie Landry, Margaret "Geet" Breaux and Grace Simms; and brothers, Sidney Berthelot, Willie Berthelot, Riley "R.L." Berthelot, Harold Berthelot, A.J. Berthelot and Iris Berthelot Sr.

She was a member and past president of the Addis Fireman's Ladies Auxiliary. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Baton Rouge Butterfly Wing.
