Ms. Faye Joyce Butler of Arab, Alabama; passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at her residence at the age of 85 years.
Ms. Butler was born on December 25, 1935 to the late Gayle Tousey and Mrytle Howe McElroy. She was a registered member of the Stockbridge Muncee Band of Mohican Indians. She liked to go fishing, watch the birds and going to karaoke. She loved her family and her dog Pooh very much.
Ms. Butler is survived by her children, Nacoma Morrow (Mickey), Tina Marie Walker (Mike), Ione Maze (Richard), Louann Ambrose (David), Tony Tousey (Wendy); 17 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Gayle Tousey and Mrytle McElroy; Ms. Butler is preceded in death by her brother, Gary Lee Tousey Sr., husband, Billy Butler, Sr., children Billy Butler, Jr., Ramona Harris, Naomie Gregory, Gary Lee Tousey, Jr.; granddaughter, Aubrey Chershire.
A visitation will take place at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Saturday, July 17, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow at the Iron City Cemetery in Anniston, AL.
