Alan B. Bambling, 57, of Manchester Township, died Wednesday, November 24, 2004, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Center in Allentown. He was the husband of Bernadette M. (Martin) Bambling. The couple celebrated their 36th wedding on May 4, 2004. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. on Monday, November 29, 2004, at Calvary U.M. Church, 11 N. Richland Ave. in York. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. The Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York, is in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Bambling was born in Chambersburg January 12, 1947, a son of T. Bruce and Arlene M. (Hoover) Bambling. He was a 1964 graduate of West York Senior High. He worked as an automobile technician for 23 years at Jack Giambalvo in York. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in York; Dover Lion's Club; and SCCA Auto Racing. In addition to his wife, Mr. Bambling is survived by two sons, Grant M. Bambling of York and Garth W. Bambling of Dover; two grandchildren, Maggie and Katie Bambling; two sisters, Carolyn Koons of Jacobus and Beth Shaw of Brogue; and nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Memorial and Honor Program P.O.
