Henry Oxley, 90, retired farmer in the West Liberty community, died June 28 at West Liberty following an extended illness.
Services were held Monday. Burial was in Oakridge cemetery.
Mr. Oxley was born Dec. 7, 1867, at Pleasant View, Ohio, and had been a resident of West Liberty for 75 years.
His first marriage was to LENA SIDERS.
He was married to Elizabeth CHAPMAN in 1932.
He was a member of the Methodist church.
Survivors include his second wife; one son, LORIN Oxley, Tipton;
two step-sons, Wilbur Siders, Maquoketa, and Edwin Siders, Coralville;
and two step-daughters, Mrs. Fred Goody, Iowa City, and Mrs. Marie Rank, Vermillion, S. Dak.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, one son and one daughter.
