Hazel Lee Matlock, 94, passed from this life on Thursday, November 15, 2007, in Norman, Oklahoma. Hazel was born July 24, 1913 in Caddo, Oklahoma, to George and Melinda (Mayes) Rose. She married Vincent P. Matlock on October 16, 1946 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and to this union, they were blessed with two children. Hazel was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City, OK. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her two children, Sharon Younkin and her husband Kenneth of Norman, Oklahoma, and Steve Matlock and his wife Sally of Mesa, Arizona; two grandchildren, Stephanie Angier and husband John and Mark Younkin; as well as a host of other family and friends. Graveside services will be Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery.
