Shirley Faye Lamb, age 73, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday July 13, 2021, in the comfort of her home. She was born March 30, 1948, in Berea, KY to the late John and Ruby Damrell. A lifelong resident of Berea, Shirley was a homemaker and a member of the Cartersville Holliness Church. She loved being surrounded by nature and had a great love for cats. Shirley enjoyed crafting and painting, as well as gardening and taking beach vacations.
Other than her parents, Shirley was proceeded in death by her husband Russell Lamb and her three sisters Judy Poynter, Thelma Sparks and Penny Damrell.
Shirley is survived by her two sons William Lamb and his wife Teresa and Danny Smith as well as her daughter Jennifer Howard and her husband Scott, all of Berea, KY. She is also survived by her five brothers Donnie Damrell and his wife Ollie, Junior Damrell, David Damrell and his wife Brenda, Rick Damrell and his wife Renee, Michael Damrell and his wife Mae as well as her three sisters Gail Jackson and her husband Latus, Jean Stansell and her husband Fred, all of Berea, KY and Margaret Poynter of Bowling Green, KY. Shirley is also survived by her grandchildren Daniel, Tiffany, Austin, Ruby, Amirra, Jacob, Shawna, Kayla and Crystal and one great-grandchild, Jerimiah.
Visitation will be on Friday July 16, 2021, from 6-9PM and funeral services will be at 12:00PM Saturday July 17, 2021 at Davis & Powell Funeral Home with Bro. Bruce Alcorn officiating. . Burial will follow at Flat Gap Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Daniel Howard, Austin Lamb, James Todd, William Lee Lamb, Scott Lamb and William R. Lamb.
