He was a truck driver for more 40 years with Local 25. He was an avid Red Sox fan.
He is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Ret. Chelmsford Fire Captain Walter F. Adley Jr., William and Linda Adley, and Edward and Donna Adley; a daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Robert Brosnahan; 19 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was also the father of the late Arthur and John Adley.
