Mary Louise Williams, 91, 299 N. Washington Street, Hagerstown died on Monday, October 2, 2000 at Reid Hospital in Richmond after a short illness.

She was born on April 15, 1909, in Jefferson Township, the daughter of Vance and Lenora Schock Reece. She formerly lived in Straughn. She lived most of her live in the Hagerstown area.

Survivors include her husband, John R. Williams; three daughters, Mildred Zostrick of Des Moines, Iowa, Alice Andrew of Collins, Iowa, and Kathryn Hayes of State Center, Iowa; two sons, John Freland of LeGrand, Iowa, and Donald Freland of New Castle; two stepsons, Ralph Williams of Lee, Florida, and Gerald Williams of Cambridge City; one stepdaughter, Juanita Frazier of Connersville; five sisters, Ruth Harris of Hagerstown, Evelyn Bullis of Las Vegas, Nevada, Margaret Baker of New Castle, Betty Hinshaw of Indianapolis, and Rose Marie Waldren of Burnside, Kentucky; one brother, Henry Reece of Hagerstown; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Freland; a brother, Harlan Reece; three sisters, Lorene Eiler, Imogene Neal, and Gladys Wissler; and three grandchildren.

Services at Culberson Funeral Home, Hagerstown, Greg Albert, pastor officiating. Burial at Valley Grove Cemetery, Milton.
